Designed specifically for use in professional security systems and with a display resolution of up to 1280 x 1024, a dynamic contrast ratio of 1000:1, VGA input and a 5 ms response time, the new 17” SMT-1712 and 19” SMT-1912 monitors are intended to provide CCTV end users with a cost-effective display solution but without any compromise on quality.

Also included in the range are the SMT-1722 and SMT-1922 models which feature built-in speakers, offer a number of additional input options and are powered by a built-in mains lead (as do the SMT-1723 and SMT-1923, which are powered by an external power supply).

The robustness of the new models is enhanced by the inclusion of a durable tempered glass screen, while easy set-up and installation is facilitated by a multi-language on screen display, VESA mount compatibility and fully-tilting stand.

Available from all recognised Samsung distributors, the new SMT monitor range is offered with full support services from Samsung Techwin Europe (including free system design, free technical support and a full three-year warranty).
